Solving Problems

Maths students from the University of Chichester led by Adrian Pinel will have a range of problem-solving activities and problems for pupils to enjoy.
 • Monday 22nd October
 • At the Western Area Professional Centre
 • 30 per session.

 

Mr. Numbervator*

Mr. Numbervator and his act is designed to promote a 'can-do' attitude towards learning maths.
 • Monday 22nd October
 • At the North Eastern Area Professional Centre
 • 60 per session.

 

Maths and Music*

Using music to learn and explore patterns and number. Suitable for Year 2 and 3 pupils. Honour is a lecturer at the Universtity of Chichester, Fiona is a maths AST.
 • Tuesday 23rd October
 • At the Western Area Professional Centre
 • 12 per session, 4 sessions.

 

Hattie Maths*

A mathematical clown with a problem-solving streak. Hattie invites children to watch, listen and think and to discover hidden mathematical secrets.
 • Wednesday 24th October
 • At the North Eastern Area Professional Centre
 • 30 per session, 4 sessions.

 

Family Competition

A fun competition for family groups in the Chichester Area, organised by Derek Robinson. Lets do some maths together!

Calculator Man*

An entertaining and informative workshop by Peter Hall for Key Stages 1 and 2.
 • Friday 26th October
 • At the Southern Area Professional Centre
 • 50-60 per session.

 

* These events involve outside performers and require some assistance with costs or expenses, so a charge of £2 per head will be made.
