Cycling Clubs

There are two well-established clubs in the area, the "Worthing Excelsior" for mainly racing cyclists and the "Arun-Adur Cyclists' Touring Club" for touring cyclists.

Worthing Excelsior

The club mainly caters for racing cyclists, organising a large number of well-attended time trials during the summer season. Some members also ride on shorter, slower rides.

Arun-Adur Cyclists' Touring Club

The club mainly caters for medium-to-long-distance touring cyclists, but some shorter rides and off-road rides are organised. Visit the Arun-Adur CTC website for more information.

The club always has requests for people to lead shorter, slower rides, so if you'd like to help out by leading a ride or two they'd be very happy for you to do so. The club is part of the national Cyclists' Touring Club, so there is plenty of support available, and you are covered by insurance when leading a ride.
