Pedalling Pressure

WORTHING cyclists can now join a new organi- sation set up to improve conditions for riders in the town.

Worthing Cycle Campaign, founded by Anthony Cartmell, aims to work with the borough and county councils to help them spend their limited budgets wisely.

It is already working with local pedestrian groups so that conflicts between cyclists and pedestrians can be minimised.

To join the campaign, send your name and details to WCC, 35 Ham Road, Worthing BNL1 2QU. It would be appreciated if you could enclose a book of stamps to help with postage, but there is no membership fee. The campaign's newsletter will keep members informed about all aspects of cycling in Worthing.
